Stratified Field‑Grown Morning Glory Seed Mix

Field‑Grown Morning Glory Seed Mix

Stratified • Field‑Grown • Organic • Non‑GMO

This Stratified Field‑Grown Morning Glory Seed Mix is harvested from open‑pollinated heritage stands grown in full sun, on fences and trellises, where vines are allowed to cross naturally. The result is a robust mix of blues, purples, bicolors, and star‑patterned blooms with strong climbing habit and excellent vigor.

Seeds are **pre‑stratified**, mimicking cool‑season dormancy to help break seed coat resistance and encourage uniform germination once soils warm. Ideal for long runs of fencing, arches, and informal cottage‑style plantings where color variation and dense coverage are desired.

Growth Habit: Fast‑growing annual vine mix
Bloom Range: Blues, purples, bicolors, star patterns
Height: 8–15 feet (with support)
Sun Requirement: Full Sun
Sowing Depth: 1/4 inch

Planting Instructions:
• Stratified seeds may still benefit from a brief soak (6–12 hours).
• Sow outdoors after danger of frost has passed and soil has warmed.
• Provide sturdy fencing, trellis, or netting for climbing.
• Keep soil evenly moist during germination (7–21 days).
• Morning glories prefer lean soil; avoid heavy nitrogen fertilization.
• Thin seedlings to allow strong vines to develop and intertwine.
